When looking at a piece of art from either a new or critically acclaimed artist, what do we see?  When observing a skyscraper, do we truly see the complexity and beauty of an architectural masterpiece, or are we merely awed by its massive size and structure? Can we look thru the glass and steel, from the spire down to its foundation and not just imagine the cement and steel underpinnings, as well as the view the external textures, colors and features, but truly get its creator’s essence, history and true intention of the work?
